Ivan Ristic, senior programme executive

How was your journey to work today?
Not too bad, I love getting the bus from Waterloo, especially in the summer. In fact I bumped into my colleague Sarah who works in the telecoms team. We chatted about what we'd been up to over the weekend (not together of course...)

What was the first thing you did when you arrived?
PR is all about the ever changing media agenda so I tend to start the day by scanning the papers and online news sites to see what is going on in the world.

The first person I talked with was… Andy, we were trading blows as to who had the most exciting weekend.

What did your to-do list look like today?
Quite packed as always, but it's always satisfying on a Monday crossing everything off from the week before!

At 9.30am I… met Christine Hamilton in a radio studio near the office for a morning full of interviews on behalf of one of my clients.

What was your lunch break like?
Well we had a busy schedule of interviews so lunch was grabbing a quick sandwich back at my desk and catching up on my mountain of email

What was the major non work related story in your team today?
My colleague Andy has been short listed to appear on a new SKY TV series about living a healthier lifestyle, he is the perfect candidate :-)

What did you learn today?
I learned a lot about broadcast PR which I found was really different from dealing with the print media

At 2.30pm I… was back at my desk answering press enquiries that had come in during the morning.

What was the most bizarre thing that happened to you today?
Working with Christine Hamilton was great, she is quite a character to say the least but completely adorable.

Did you have an OK day?
Busy, but productive which is always preferable to busy and unproductive!

What are you doing tonight?
I'll be meeting a few friends for dinner and a drink or two.
