Hotwire UK Dominates PRWeek’s Top 30 Under 30
Four of our PR experts made the cut in PRWeek’s Top 30 Under 30.
Every year PRWeek selects the top 30 PR consultants aged under 30 from a variety of agency and in-house roles and across different specialisms. According to PRWeek this accolade ‘recognises those with the greatest potential to become industry leaders of the future – and those who have achieved greatness already’.
This year we entered four PR experts we think definitely fit that bill – Felicity Hudson, Tom Rouse, Trine Hansen and Matt Watson.
So, who made the cut? Drumroll please…all four of them!
We could not be prouder and are so delighted for Trine, Felicity, Tom and Matt – all brilliant PR operators, so this is definitely well deserved! Each of them stood out from the crowd – from their comms and leadership skills to specific achievements and results throughout their PR careers.
The judging panel this year included Bibi Hilton, MD, Golin London, Francis Ingham, director general, PRCA and Anouska Ruane, head of comms, UK & Ireland, Facebook.
So, why exactly are these four superstars so amazing? Here’s a little taster of their PR brilliantness…
Felicity, who leads Hotwire’s Financial Services team, has organically grown her client base by almost 50% in just six months through impressive new business wins, increasing monthly retainers and orchestrating highly measurable and integrated organic growth projects. She has been instrumental in some of Hotwire’s most prolific wins.
Tom, who acts as creative and strategic lead for a diverse mix of B2B and B2C accounts, optimises what a modern PR professional should be capable of. He’s as comfortable helping a reluctant CEO take his first steps into social media as he is driving a brand repositioning for a 200 year old company. He has also played a key role in helping Hotwire develop a content led marketing strategy.
Trine runs some of the agency’s most strategically important and coolest brands – across multiple countries. She develops award-winning campaigns that deliver real business value and was the first Programme Director to take ownership of a portfolio. Trine led the European launch of the GoPro Hero4 which led to GoPro’s most successful sales quarter in its history and culminated in Hotwire winning the PRCA Dare Award for the launch.
Matt’s creativity centred on hard facts and insights gives him an edge over other creatives in the business, as demonstrated by his recent Young PR Lions win. Francis Ingham Director General, PRCA, recognised that Matt’s winning ‘entry demonstrated “knowledge and creativity”. Matt will go to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June to compete against representatives from more than 30 countries.
