QuickPlay Media selects Hotwire as European agency

QuickPlay Media, a mobile TV and video solutions specialist, has appointed Hotwire to support its PR programme in Europe as the company expands its business globally and prepares for the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.  

QuickPlay was the first to launch Mobile Video Service to the Canadian market in 2004 and now has 12 mobile operator customers and 15 services deployed in North America and Europe including the recently announced video streaming and dynamic ad stitching mobile TV service for Vodafone Italia called FreeVideo.

Canadian company QuickPlay has hired Hotwire to manage all of its public relations activity, including leading an issues-based campaign that will establish QuickPlay as a proven provider of open solutions for the management and delivery of mobile television and video services.

Hotwire won the QuickPlay brief following a competitive pitch, and the Hotwire team will report to QuickPlay marketing communications director, Tina Kaichis.

Tina Kaichis, marketing communications director at QuickPlay Media commented: “The mobile TV market is continually evolving as more operators and content providers look to develop compelling propositions for consumer. It is important for QuickPlay to work with an agency that has proven experience in this field, which is one of the reasons we selected Hotwire.
