Hotwire Graduate Programme 2008

PRoactive? PRagmatic? PRofessional?
Hotwire has established itself as one of Europe’s hottest technology public relations consultancies. Over the past six years, we have grown rapidly and made a decisive mark in the technology PR market. Since day one our mantra has been ‘next generation PR today’. This means an amazing team, a real flair for creativity, implementation based on tried and tested processes and an approach to measurement and transparency that means the client is in control.

Hotwire is consistently recognised as one of the PR industry’s most ambitious and accomplished companies, winning awards each year which honour its people and campaigns: 2007 saw Hotwire named as PRWeek’s International Consultancy of the Year, win the PRWeek Best Technology Campaign award for client NetNames and win the prestigious SABRE award for Best Pan-European Campaign.

Hotwire, together with its exciting new sister agency Skywrite, specialises in corporate, trade and consumer PR programmes for companies in the technology industry.  Today we have offices in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan and Madrid and work for some of the most exciting and innovative technology brands in Europe including NEC, O2, Duracell, Shazam and Tiscali.

We are looking for talented graduates to join our specialist practices in Hotwire and Skywrite in September 2008. Please apply if you are an excellent communicator both verbally and on paper; have a real understanding of what PR involves; enthusiasm for technology and what it can enable; as well as being ambitious and focussed about your career.

In return, we offer a comprehensive, 18-month graduate development programme that combines a theoretical grounding of modern public relations with practical hands-on PR experience for you from week one. Our training programme is delivered in a creative and invigorating environment, directly from some of the most talented and experienced professionals in the PR industry.

Our graduate training programme gives you the opportunity to:

.    Develop and master the core skills you will need as a PR consultant,
from knowing how to secure coverage for clients to writing the perfect press release
.    Rapidly develop direct relationships with both the media and with clients
  • .    Work with varied clients from established blue-chip companies to exciting new
start-ups, all facing unique PR challenges
.    Join a young team and work in a “no-barriers” creative environment
.    Become part of a company that recognises the importance of work-life balance
and which actively helps you develop a life outside the office.
We will be conducting initial phone screening interviews for 60 shortlisted candidates, before inviting a final 30 to a graduate open and assessment day on Saturday 23 February at our offices in London’s Clerkenwell.

To apply please download an application form here and follow the instructions.

Important dates:
The deadline for applications is 4th February 2008.
Telephone interviews will take place w/c 4th February.
Graduate Assessment Day will take place on Saturday 23rd February 2008.
