When The Evening Standard calls to check if you are responsible for a new bill you know that your project is going well. On September 6 the Companies Bill, the UK equivalent to Sarbanes-Oxley, came back for its crucial second reading in the House of Commons. The Companies Bill will tighten up UK corporate auditing and governance and as such will require massive IT system investment. The new Bill was an excellent platform to position Butler Group as a leading commentator and knowledge centre in the area of compliance. Hotwire used the issue as part of its Issue Factory work with Butler Group, developed an issue jump and achieved blanket coverage across top IT, accountancy and business titles. "The Companies Bill activity is a great example of the work Hotwire does with Butler Group", says Max Becker, CEO. "Hotwire is the most client-orientated agency I have worked with, they understand my business and have outstanding processes. BG's profile in our target press has increased significantly since we engaged Hotwire and I am always pleasantly surprised by their assertive approach to selling stories."
