28 October 2005: Chordiant Software selects Hotwire as European PR agency

London, 28 October 2005 – Hotwire, the European technology public relations consultancy, today announced it has been selected to represent Chordiant Software, a leading supplier of customer processing software.  Following a competitive pitch, Chordiant has chosen Hotwire for an ongoing coordinated PR programme in the UK and Germany.

Chordiant provides businesses with the software to improve customer servicing through intelligent interaction, processing and analytics technology.  A key advantage of Chordiant’s software is that enables its clients to tailor their services to individual customer profiles, rather than grouping them into generic customer categories, based on factors such as age, sex and occupation.  Particularly active in the financial services and telecommunications sectors, Chordiant has an extremely strong customer base in those sectors.

Hotwire has created an integrated PR programme with the aim of raising brand awareness and developing Chordiant’s position in its key markets.  Hotwire will also coordinate a major technology launch across the UK and Germany.  The campaign will clarify Chordiant’s positioning, develop its reputation in specific areas and effectively communicate the organisation’s leadership in customer processing software.

Brendon Craigie, director at Hotwire, will head the account, reporting to Andy Cutler, EMEA vice president of marketing for Chordiant.

Andy Cutler commented:  “Hotwire stood out during the pitch process for its industry knowledge and understanding of current trends that affect Chordiant’s target audiences.  The appointment of Hotwire in the UK and Germany is an integral part of our programme to engage target media and communicate our competitive differentiation. Hotwire has a clear vision that will ensure that Chordiant is well positioned as a thought leader through a strong PR programme with specific deliverables and precise measurements of success.”

Brendon Craigie added:  “Since its early days, Chordiant has relied on innovation to put it in a strong position to make significant headway on both sides of the Atlantic.  The aggressive PR programme Hotwire has planned across the UK and Germany will draw on this market strength to build Chordiant’s reputation in the enterprise software market.”
