London, 1 November 2002 – Hotwire, the European technology public relations consultancy, was awarded one of PR Week´s most sought-after awards at the industry ceremony in London on Wednesday evening this week. Taking home the title of New Consultancy of the Year, Hotwire won the award based on its performance, employee programme and client acquisition.
Kristin Syltevik, managing partner and co-founder of Hotwire commented on winning the award: “The PR Week Awards are the high-point of the year for the UK PR industry and we are extremely excited that our colleagues in the industry have recognised the team´s fantastic work over the last two years.”
Launched in September 2000 by Kristin Syltevik and co-founder Anthony Wilson, Hotwire was created to form a totally differentiated PR offering aimed at companies in the technology industry.
From its inception, Hotwire introduced a practice-based structure with teams that have in-depth industry knowledge for technology firms. This means that clients receive expert counsel from PR practitioners with in-depth knowledge of the trends and issues affecting their specific sector and the expertise necessary to devise and implement a successful PR programme.
Along with an office in the UK, Hotwire has established wholly-owned offices in France and Germany. The award comes only four weeks after Hotwire won the title of Best IT PR Company at the Computing Industry Awards.
