We’re delighted to announce that Hotwire New Zealand has won the 2015 PRINZ (Public Relations Institute of New Zealand) Award in the Special Event or Project category for our work with client Steel Construction New Zealand.
The Steel Fabricator Certification scheme (SFC) is a mission-critical initiative to help secure the future of New Zealand’s structural steel fabrication industry. It is a response to the threat of cheaper, imported steelwork and creates a clear point of difference for local fabricators.
Hotwire’s role was to lead all communications in support of the launch of the SFC, including branding, marketing collateral, a website and media.
As well as achieving an impactful launch via an industry event and associated media coverage, Hotwire went above and beyond by securing an endorsement of the SFC from the Minister of Building and Construction.
The award is great recognition of our work with Alistair Fussell and his team at Steel Construction New Zealand since 2011, under the leadership of Programme Manager Lisa van Beurden. We’d also like to acknowledge our graphic design, website and photography partners involved in the project, in particular Godward Design.
We’re really proud of this win, and certainly look forward to producing more award-winning work in the future!
This special event was an extremely well thought out project with ‘textbook’ delivery that achieved excellent results. The event addressed significant challenges facing the industry and was used as a basis to improve knowledge, build critical relationships and deepen understanding of the issues. The team had to respond to changing circumstances and adjusted strategy to address the changes – and challenges – as they arose. Objectives, audiences and planning were crystal clear and the creative implementation led to successful – and measurable – outcomes.
