Hotwire at the 21st Century Communications World Forum

Hotwire's telecoms team was representing JDSU and Newport Networks at the 21st Century Communications World Forum. JDSU is a global supplier of broadband optical and testing technologies and Newport Networks is a leading developer of carrier-class Session Border Controllers.

The 21st Century Communications World Forum 2006 took place from March 27th to 30th. The event analysed the business and technology requirements for making convergent IP communications a reality in today's world, on a carrier scale. It attracts more than 2,000 delegates eager to discuss the latest advances in communications technologies. {mospagebreak}Hotwire used the event to build relationships between the companies and their target audiences and push relevant announcements:

JDSU used the forum to announce a test and measurement contract with BT for the first phase of BT's next generation network deployment in Cardiff. Hotwire has secured one-to-one interviews with JDSU’s target audience, including Total Telecom and Networking Plus, and organised briefings with key industry analysts from Frost & Sullivan and Ovum.

Newport Networks chose the event to announce it will be the first session border controller vendor to comply with the forthcoming Network Interoperability Consultative Committee requirements for interconnection of real time traffic over IP. At the event Hotwire has secured major media opportunities including a profile in Global Telecom Business and one-to-one briefings with Telecom Europe, Infonetics and Frost and Sullivan.{mospagebreak}As players rival to get exposure at telecoms trade shows and conferences, a strategic approach combining content building, excellent planning and timely preparation is the only recipe for successful communications.
