Client Thales e-Security at The Banker Technology Awards 2006

With Hotwire's help, Thales has added another well-earned trophy to the cabinet for its award-winning Safesign authentication platform. Recognised throughout the industry as the premier award event, Thales scooped an award in the 'fraudulent action and ID theft' category in front of a packed audience of banks, service providers and other industry vendors. In recognition of the effort put in to drafting the entry and managing the submission process, Thales invited Hotwire to join them at the award ceremony that was hosted by Declan Curry, the BBC’s morning business and finance presenter.
Commenting on the success, Scott McLean, head of the banking and finance practice at Hotwire, said: "Our clients are always keen to be entered for awards but to succeed it is important that a number of factors are considered. Firstly, does the title that is running the award reach our client’s target audience? Secondly, does our client or client’s customer project meet all the criteria specified by the entry guidelines? It may seem obvious, but unless you can meet this basic criteria, entering an award can be a waste of resources. When writing an actual award entry, you must always bear in mind the USP or unique selling point of the story: What will make this entry stand out from the many others that the judges are no doubt wading through? Does this entry have the potential to excite its reader? If you can answer these questions positively, as we did for Thales, then you are halfway towards writing a winning entry!" |
